LESSONS from the FIELD 2009-2010:
Race, Culture and Children’s Mental Health

The Children, Youth & Family Consortium's Children's Mental Health Program and Harris Programs of the University of Minnesota are partnering this year to sponsor a series on culture in the context of children's mental health. The combined series features three Lessons from the Field workshops as well as the annual spring Harris Forum.

An in-depth afternoon workshop was led by Brenda Jones Harden geared specifically to child welfare supervisors, focusing on clinical supervision and reflective practice. This interactive workshop enabled child welfare supervisors to meet with Dr Harden in a small group format to expand upon the content from the morning workshop and focus on application of key concepts.
