Denise Lacher, MA, LP

Denise B. Lacher is the Family Attachment Center's Director of Attachment Programs. FACC is a national leader in the treatment of children with attachment disorder utilizing a unique methodology called Family Attachment Narrative Therapy.  Ms. Lacher has received extensive training in attachment theory, post traumatic stress disorders, and parenting.  She came to the Center in 1994, and specializes in EMDR and Family Attachment Narrative Therapy.  Ms. Lacher has presented nationally on attachment and treatment of attachment disturbances. In addition, she is the lead author of Connecting with Kids through Stories: Using narratives to facilitate attachment in adopted children and coauthor of Parenting with Stories: Creating a foundation of attachment for parenting your child.
